I am lucky enough to see this adorable family several times a year. We did their maternity session a few months ago so that we would be ready for when baby arrived around Christmas time. I emailed Danelle to check in and see how things were going and it was that exact day, Dec 15th that baby Nate was born. What a sweet, lovable and "so far" timid addition he is to their already wonderful family. I always love spending time with this family. They are so calm and do not let anything phase them. Danelle and Fred always say "Just let them be them (kids) and don't stress about the details, we are capturing raw memories." And that we did! This time we were lucky enough to have Fred's parents visiting and able to join us for our session.
Annika & Isabella | Sibling Session
I had the opportunity to photograph some promo material a few months back for Annaliisa who owns Annaliisa's Organic Kitchen out of White Rock, BC. We also used to attend the same networking group with a bunch of lovely entrepreneurial ladies. She contacted me to book a session for her two LOVELY daughters Annika and Isabella so that they could give some photos to their dad for Christmas. I had never met the two girls before but heard ALL about them. It was so much fun finally getting to see their glowing personalities in person. They truly are the sweetest, most polite and genuine girls ever.
Araiya & Ashley | Family Session
I photographed Ashley's maternity session back in June and Araiya was born only a short while after our scheduled session. She was and still is a tiny little bundle or joy. She was probably to date the happiest, most smiley "baby" I have ever photographed. Ashley and Araiya were visiting Vancouver from Prince George and booked a session just in time for Christmas. We have had pretty mild winter weather here in Vancouver but I guess if you come from Prince George it feels tropical. Araiya was not phased at all by the slight chill factor and was beaming from ear to ear. I always look forward to photographing this little family.
Extended Family Session | South Surrey
Kelsey contacted me about doing an extended family session. Vancouver generally isn't too snowy or "cold" in December but we have been getting a lot of rain and wind the last few weeks. The day of their session was no exception. It was chilly and it was pouring but they were all great sports and toughed it out! It had been a whole year since I last saw London and Iverson (2nd and 3rd littlest) and it was so nice to see them again, so much bigger this time!
