Brian & Kerry | 30/12/17

Brian & Kerry wanted to have a simple and intimate wedding surrounded by close friends and family. The perfect time was December, when everyone would be in town for Christmas. They gathered together for a beautiful ceremony at Milner Chapel in Langley, BC. After the ceremony we headed to GLOW Christmas with all of the wedding guests. Glow is a local family Christmas event that features incredible light features (tunnels and gardens), food trucks and Children's games. It has activities for all ages and was the perfect spot for a cold wintery afternoon. Following our GLOW experience we headed back to Milner Chapel for the reception. Everyone enjoyed scrumptious food and thoughtful speeches/toasts. The evening went out with a big bang (literally) with a personal fireworks show!

Diego & Kerstina | 10.09.17

I met Kerstina in high school when I moved to Langley from Saskatchewan over 15 years ago. Several years passed after we graduated high school and Kerstina and I met up to catch up on life. We met at a pub that frequented karaoke competitions - they (the pub) were clients of mine and Kerstina competed in many of their competitions. But lets just say the majority of our conversation or "catch up" revolved around a "guy named Diego" (her boyfriend at the time) - I don't blame her! I finally got to meet Diego at their engagement session and I was truly able to understand why Kerstina was head over heels for Diego, they're a perfect match for each other!!

Their wedding was in the works for a while and man does Kerstina have many of the same personality traits as me: planner, organizer and a visionary. I loved it! I met the girls at Kerstinas parents in Burnaby to photograph Kerstina and her girls getting ready. The oh-so-talented Meagan met the guys at his family home in Whiterock to capture the guys preparing for the big day.

They decided to do a "first" look and formal photos prior to their ceremony. So we headed to Kwomais Park in South Surrey.

After formal photos we headed to the ceremony and reception site: Morgan Creek Golf Course. Their grounds are stunning and the weather was perfect for an outdoor ceremony. Check out all the smiles (oh and a few tears!) below:

Lawrence & Amelia | 19/08/17

Many of you know Meagan, she shoots 99% of my weddings with me and I am SERIOUSLY lucky to have her alongside me. She asked if I would help her shoot Lawrence and Amelia's wedding and of course I said yes! I started off with the "guys" getting ready at Lawrence's family home in New Westminster. The morning was super relaxed and stress-free, just like Lawrence! We headed to the Living Waters Church in Fort Langley for their beautiful religious ceremony. It was one for books - there may have been a groomsmen mishap mid-ceremony, but I will keep that one on the hush hush! (Note the missing glass in the communion table....) We headed to Derby Reach (escorted by a lovely gentleman from Stylish Arrival ) for formals photos. And then back to the Fort Langley Golf Course for a super entertaining reception.  The reception was full of entertainment - a caricaturist, Sitar and Tabla Player, Belly Dancer, Russian singer and Dancer & Bharatanatyam Dancer (check out all their info below!) Adam & Alison | 12/08/17

Alison and I went to high school together (almost 10 years ago!!! AH!) and when she contacted me asking if I would photograph her big day of course I said yes! I hadn't seen her in 10 years but was honored that they chose me as their photographer! Adam and Alison were introduced to each other through a friend. They love adventuring, the outdoors and are big time games fans. Their wedding even included an entire board games table and rubix cube key chain favors! They had a beautiful outdoor ceremony at Campbell Valley Park followed by their reception at the Fort Langley Golf Course.
