Jug & Jas Destination Wedding, Cabo, Mexico. Hard Rock.
Read MoreTrevor & Kathryn
Trevor & Kathryn are seriously my jam! Kathryn was very adamant that her wedding be fun, extremely chill and stress free. They had a casual standing ceremony overlooking the water in White rock at Kwomais Point Park. Even when the ring fell mid exchange during the ceremony they both just laughed it off (it was kind of serious, there were huge cracks in the ground and it could have easily fallen through).
Guests enjoyed lawn games and craft beers on a sunny long weekend afternoon. Trevor & Kathryn LOVE craft beer (Kathryn has grown to love it!) You know when couples mix sand at a ceremony, well they mixed their two favorite craft beers and took a swig each. That’s how much they love craft beer.

Jonas & Whitney
Whitney and I both went to University together, we didn’t end up with too many classes together, as I graduated several years prior to Whitney. I was very honored when she asked me to photograph her wedding. Jonas and Whitney both met through mutual friends, Jonas could barely keep his eyes off of Whitney the first time they met each other. He mustered up the courage to go sit beside Whitney while out with friends and look where it has brought them! Now they are married! Also a HUGE common denominator was the fact that they were both German.
Their wedding was full of German tributes: a German band, pretzels, a German dress (Whitney's second outfit! Shhh it was a surprise for Jonas) and a LOT of family that came all the way from Germany (and around the world!) Ill be honest, 90% of the wedding I had no idea what anyone was saying, but it was SO much fun.
And I cannot forget the tractors, oh the tractors…..Whitney is the only thing that Jonas loves more then he does his tractors. They even drove the tractors to and from the ceremony location! You'll see them pop up in the photos below….

Nick & Brittany
Brittany's lovely maid of honour Katie referred her to me. Last year I received an email in my inbox from Brittany regarding her special day, within hours she was booked. Fast forward to last weekend, it was the FIRST time I met Nick & Brittany. And they were EXACTLY how I anticipated: easy going, friendly and bubbly. All day they were smiling and laughing.
On my drive out to their venue (might I note one of my FAVORTE venues: Woodbridge Ponds in Abbotsford) it was pouring rain, but as soon as I pulled into their venue the sun came out and it was HOT.
The night followed with good food, speeches and a choreographed first dance.
