Cheung | Family Session

I am lucky enough to see the Cheung family once or twice a year. Their girls are truly the sweetest and so much fun to hang out with. Though their parents re-assured me they don't ALWAYS act that way ;) They always show up with beaming smiles, personalities full of life and hearts of gold. Champann and Cindy are parents who lead by example, are always positive and take life as it comes. We lucked out with the weather, amongst many days of back to back rain - we had the perfect amount of sunshine! It is such a joy to be able to spend time with this family and my hope is that these photos depict just a small portion of who they are and each of their individual personalities.

Sandra & Devon | Engagement Session

I love meeting new people. When Sandra contacted me about shooting her wedding on a family property, with a cocktail party and the July summer heat I was instantly in! I first met Sandra and Devon over coffee and boy are these two meant for each other. They compliment each other so well. Both are quiet spoken, thoughtful and caring individuals. When Sandra mentioned she wanted her wedding to be relatively easy going, stress-less and fun for everyone I knew we would be a good match. After a few reschedules (hello winter rain in Vancouver!) we finally were able to meet up for their engagement session at Old Orchard Park in Port Moody. They brought along their SUPER cute and energetic puppy Lincoln. Check out a few sneak peaks from their session below.

Mensah | Newborn Session

I love referrals. I have such wonderful clients and being able to meet their friends and family is always so much fun. The Mensah family was no exception. They were laid back and so polite during the whole session. Kofi (the older brother) quite evidently is going to be such a helpful and loving older brother. He is the sweetest, politest and most adventurous 2 year old ever. Kwame was only 8 days old in this photo and was a true gem to photograph. Cannot wait to watch this family grow up. Check out a few photos from their session below.

Samantha & Hannah | Mother Daughter

Samantha contacted me way before Christmas to do a session with her daughter Hannah. But, a chain of pour weather (tons of rain!) occurred and we ended up doing it after Christmas. We lucked out with beautiful frosty weather at sunset. Samantha is the epitome of easy going. She loves Hannah to pieces and was so relaxed the whole session. Hannah is a ball of energy and has a beautiful sass to her! She fell more times then I can count and got back up with no tears, dipped her hands in the frozen snow to eat it and full on face planted into the muddy waters of the river - and loved EVERY minute of it. She's an adventurer and Samantha encourages every moment of it. When she ended up fully engulfed in mud head to toe I said "shall we clean her up a bit before we continue?" Samantha laughed kindly and said "No, that just makes the photos. That's Hannah in all her toddler glory, mud will just be an added touch. Memories." And that we did! Prepare yourself for a lot of "muddy" photos and cheeky smiles.
